Salonga Center for Law and Development (Salonga Center)—with its director, Atty. Mikhail Lee Maxino, its staff, and volunteers from the Silliman University College of Law and Foundation University College of Law and Jurisprudence—expressed its gratefulness for all the blessings it has received all throughout the year by sharing the same with the children of the Amador Dagudag Memorial School Day Care Center as part of its annual Christmas Gift-Giving Program. The fun-filled morning started with a stretching activity to energize the children and the participating Salonga volunteers. The Dr. Jovito R. Salonga Center for Law and Development (Salonga Center) was off to a great start as it had its Grand Orientation for its new recruits last July 6^th, 2017 at the Justice Venancio D. Aldecoa, Jr. Moot Court, College of Law, Silliman University. The orientation was organized by the Sophomore law students/volunteers of the College of Law of Silliman University.

Silliman University College of Law Students and Salonga Center Volunteers marched with the bereaved family members of the late Atty. Ramon Elesteria, Atty. Archer Baldwin Martinez, Atty. Manolo Zerna, Atty. Eliezer Casipong and Judge Orlando Velasco who were victims of murder.
